At the heart of the BPT Academy is Fabian David, a passionate entrepreneur whose vision is reshaping the future of professional Padel in the UK.
Fabian’s story begins with sport. A former professional tennis player, his formative years were shaped by discipline, competition, and the values that only the court can teach: resilience, focus, and respect. After stepping away from the sport for many years, he rediscovered his love through Padel.
Fabian founded the Britain Padel Tour (BPT) — now the leading professional national Padel tour in the UK. His commitment is to grow the sport, and elevate its standards, build real infrastructure, and offer talented players a professional path they’ve never had before in Britain.
The creation of the BPT Academy, powered by Padel Shed (the UK’s first and only official Padel Center), is Fabian’s next step in that mission. Bringing world-class coaches from Spain and building long-term systems for performance, progression, and access, the Academy represents everything Fabian believes in: ambition, excellence, and doing things properly.
As Director of the Academy, Fabian’s approach is hands-on: from developing national strategy to working directly with players, partners, and clubs.
A multidisciplinary athlete and coach, Razvan has competed in and coached across a range of sports including Padel, CrossFit, Hyrox, skeleton, and kickboxing.
He brings a performance-led approach to training that blends elite conditioning, sport-specific development, and injury risk prevention. A data and stats-driven coach with a strong attention to detail, Razvan leads the performance programme at BPT Academy, helping padel players build strength, resilience, and long-term athletic performance both on and off the court.
One of the most decorated female coaches to ever join the UK Padel scene, Ainhoa Rico Martín brings a unique blend of high-performance experience and long-term athlete development.
Ainhoa’s experience as a competitor and elite trainer is unmatched in the UK, and her role at the BPT Academy marks a milestone moment for British Padel coaching.
A passionate coach and competitor, Josep Aymerich has spent the past decade shaping and developing athletes in Spain’s most competitive regions. He joins the BPT Academy after leading at Padel Indoor Mataró, where his coaching helped the club win the Catalonia Championship.
